31.10.16- There are endless numbers of videos floating around on the internet about how to correctly shade a sphere, however from the ones I looked at, this one stood out to me. I like the way she simplifies it into tones, reminding me of an exercise Conánn had used in class on tone week. Out of all the videos, I thought she ended up with the most dynamic looking sphere, while others looked very static.

In terms of technicality however, this next video was great. It clearly gives you a method to figure out where your shadows should go.
